Terminology

  • Network: A collection of interlinked nodes that exchange information.

  • Node: The most basic part of the network; for example, a user or computer.

  • Address: Hex representation of an on chain account.

  • Handles: Unique name representation of an on chain account.

  • Identity: Representation of a account by an address or a unique handle from on chain identity solutions like ENS, LENS

  • Metas: Data that forms identities, nfts, and any other form of content stored in blockchain memory or in p2p networks like IPFS and arweave.

  • Owner: Individual address that owns a particular meta indexed on Macha Network

  • Indexers: Nodes running as data indexing service on blockchains or p2p networks.

  • Receipients: A Recipient within Macha is any user that may wish to receive streams of other users.
